Feel the results of adding just some extra ingredients to your clay routine. You'll be surprised what fresh ingredients can do!

Hydrating Mask

Yogurt helps to cleanse your skin and tighten the pores. But not all yogurt serve the same purpose. Depending on how it's cultivated, yogurt have different properties for your skin.

 


YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Rose Clay Pairing)
  • Lemon Slice
  • Sheep's Milk Yogurt/ Plain Traditional Milk Yogurt (non-vegan)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix 1/2 tsp of clay with 5-8 drops of Lemon
  2. Blend to a paste with your choice of yogurt
    Plain Sheep's Milk Yogurt: B Vitamins extra hydration boost (higher fat content), Riboflavin

    Plain Tradtional Milk Yogurt: Brightening (lactic acid)
  3. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  4. Let sit for 10-15 min
  5. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

Anti-inflammatory Mask

"Turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory and aids in the removal of dead skin cells and lemons are packed with alpha-hydroxy-acids (AHA’s) that stimulate new cell growth and gently exfoliate to reveal fresh skin.."

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Earth Clay Pairing)
  • Raw Honey (non-vegan)
  • Turmeric
  • Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat Raw Honey to liquify.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp of clay with honey, mix well.
  3. Blend to a paste with
    Turmeric: 1/4 tsp powder or minced (too much will stain, use modestly)
    Black Pepper: A pinch to activate turmeric's properties.
  4. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  5. Let sit for 10-15 min
  6. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

Mature, Dry Skin Mask

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Rose Clay Pairing)
  • Avocado
  • Raw Honey (non-vegan)
  • Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Peel and mash 1/2 an avocado into a creamy paste.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp of clay and mix well with avocado paste.
  3. Blend further with 1 tbsp of honey
  4. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  5. Let sit for 10-15 min
  6. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Sea Clay Pairing)
  • Banana

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Peel and mash a medium-sized bana into a smooth paste.
  2. Add 1 tsp of clay and mix well with banana paste.
  3. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  4. Let sit for 10-20 min
  5. Wash off with cold water and pat dry.

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Earth Clay Pairing)
  • Whole Wheat Flour
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Sweet Almond Oil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix 1/2-1 tsp of clay with 1/2 tsp of flour.
  2. Blend to a paste with 1 tsp vinegar and 1/4 tsp choice of oil (Sweet Almond oil is non-comedogenic)
  3. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  4. Let sit for 10-15 min
  5. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

  • Strawberries (if you're allergic to strawberries, use Watermelon instead)
  • Plain Yogurt
  • Raw Honey (non-vegan)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mash 3 large strawberries or 1/2 cup cubed watermelon into a fine paste
  2. Add 1/2 tsp of clay and mix well.
  3. Blend to a paste with 1 tsp of plain yogurt and 1 tsp of raw honey.
  4. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  5. Let sit for 10-20 min
  6. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

Anti-Aging Mask

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Sea Clay Pairing)
  • Apricots (if you're allergic to strawberries, use Watermelon instead)
  • Warm Water
  • Raw Honey (non-vegan)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add 1 tsp of clay with 1/3 cup of water and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Mash 1/2 cup of Apricots and mix well with 1/2 tbsp of raw honey.
  3. Blend clay paste with apricot/honey paste till it has a smooth consistency
  4. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  5. Let sit for 20 min
  6. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

Evening Brightening Mask

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Earth Clay Pairing)
  • Papaya
  • Plain Yogurt (non-vegan)
  • Oatmeal

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Scoop 1 tbsp of Papaya to blend with 1 tsp of oatmeal. Set aside.
  2. Mix 1 tsp of clay with 1 tbsp of Yogurt.
  3. Blend clay paste with papaya/oatmeal paste till it has a smooth consistency
  4. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush.
  5. Let sit for 20 min
  6. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Sea Clay Pairing)
  • Activated Charcoal
  • Himalayan Sea Salt
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Lemon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix 1/2 of clay with 1 tsp of charcoal, a pinch of salt and 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper.
  2. Blend to a paste with 8 drops of Lemon, and add some water to make a spreadable paste.
  3. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  4. Let sit for 10 min
  5. Wash off with cool water and pat dry.

Restorative Mask

Since the enzymes in pumpkin and papaya will already be working hard to break down skin’s top layer of dead cells, massaging this mask into the skin is not necessary. If you’d like a deeper exfoliating effect, gently and slowly massage mask into skin for 30 seconds before allowing to set.

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Sea Clay Pairing)
  • Fresh Coffee Grounds
  • Pumpkin
  • Papaya
  • Jojoba oil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add 1 tsp of clay with 2 tsp of coffee grounds, mix well and set aside
  2. Blend to a paste the following amounts:
    2 tbsp of Pumpkin
    1/2 cup of Papaya

    1 tsp of Jojoba Oil
  3. Integrate this paste evenly with your clay/coffee mix.
  4. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  5. Let sit for 15 min
  6. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.

Pore Minimizing Mask

"EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) found in green tea inhibits an enzyme found in sebaceous glands and reduces sebum secretion, which is associated with enlarged pores."

YOU'LL NEED:

  • 1 clay pot (recommended: Sea Clay Pairing)
  • Green Tea Powder (recommended: Matcha)
  • Lemon
  • Raw Honey (non-vegan)
  • Raw Sugar

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add 1 tsp of clay with 1 tbsp of green tea powder and mix well.
  2. Blend to a paste with 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tsp of sugar.
  3. Paint on with a dedicated make-up brush or quality paint brush
  4. Massage 1-2 min in slow, circular movements
  5. Let sit for 15min
  6. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry.
